Kelly McCoy

Kelly is a professional non-union actress that has been acting since she could read. She is trained in several acting techniques and most recently discovered her love of Linklater vocal training. Kelly has been in countless stage plays including Alice in Wonderland, Awesome 80's Prom, and Anne of Green Gables. She has appeared on Vengeance: Killer Lovers  on television. She recently appeared in the indie movie Becoming. She has been in numerous commercials which are available upon request. She most recently performed her one-woman show "The Cinnamon Show: Filthy as Charged" at the Bughouse Theater in Chicago. Kelly is represented by Heyman Talent (KY, IN, OH). 

Kelly has years of improv experience and completed the competitive Conservatory program at the world-famous Second City in Chicago. She performed in the inaugural World Comedy Expo and the Circus and Performing Arts Festival  in "Stop Trying to Make Sketch Happen." She was a regular cast member of Dinner Detective and has performed in short form, long form, and musical improv troupes in Louisville, Ky and Chicago, Il. She has very recently joined Nashville Improv, and can be seen in monthly shows at City Winery.

Kelly has written a one-woman show that was performed in theaters in Chicago. She has also completed several screenplays, novels, and humorous articles. 

Kelly is the host of the podcast Wishful Drinking and Binge Thinking. Did you know that Kelly is also a psychologist? She uses her knowledge to educate and advise, all while being just absolutely hammered. 

You can catch Kelly at any random open mic trying out new material on a regular basis. 

It's much harder to find grape Bubble Tape than you would imagine, so Kelly often has to settle for grape Big League Chew. She is also a black cherry soda enthusiast, though she sticks specifically to Boylan Bottling Co. because no one else gets it quite right (Kelly will accept sponsorship from Boylan at any point in time).
